Mark 16:15 NKJV
At Eternity Chapel, we take The Great Commission very seriously. So serious in fact, we won't stop until a Bible is printed in every known language and The Church is made accessible to all people around the world.
The Gospel is a message with the power to save lives, grant freedom, and alter one's eternity—it simply isn't a message to keep hidden. That's why in the beginning of 2023, a lone preacher and a handful of volunteers set out to plant a church in Meta's Horizon Worlds platform. This word-of-mouth ministry eventually gave birth to Spirit-filled public outreaches, numerous Salvation responses, and what could be the world's first real-life wedding for a VR couple.
The Gospel is a message to be spread. And the only way to do it, is to do it faithfully. That's why Eternity Chapel's Faith Statement covers all the precepts of a Gospel-led congregation. No subdoctrines, canon-scriptures, or position papers—just plain Bible. Please enjoy our Faith Statement, below.
We believe in the inerrancy of Scripture (2 Timothy 3:16), the imperative to obey God’s Word (John 14:15), and the triune Creator that is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
We believe that Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was sent to Earth, born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18-25), and lived a sinless life as a man (1 John 3:5, Hebrews 4:15). We believe He was crucified—nailed to a cross (John 19:17-30), as God’s single atoning sacrifice for the sins of all humanity (1 John 2:2).
We believe we are broken, sinful creatures that inherited the curse of death (Romans 5:12-14), caused by man’s original sin in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:17-19). We believe that Jesus Christ was resurrected from death (Matthew 28:5-6), ascended to Heaven (Mark 16:19), and is the only way to the Father, and to everlasting life (John 14:6, John 3:16).
We believe that Jesus Christ will return to Earth someday (Acts 1:11), to gather His followers (1 Thessalonians 4:17), and exact His judgement upon the devil and his armies (Revelation 19:11-21). We believe that many are called, but few are chosen (Matthew 22:14).
We’d love for you to be one of those chosen.
